The process typically goes like this:
The design concepts may be generated from the home owner, the Architect, Interior designer, Builder, or, from scratch with our Design Engineers. We have extensive design experience from Traditional to Contemporary in all materials from Rustic to Refined.
Design and Engineering produces Cad Shop drawings for your review/redline/approval.
Our talented wood working craftsman will build samples and our finish department will provide your custom finish for your review/approval.
The manufacturing process happens at our shop here in Bozeman, Montana.
We have state of the art CNC capabilities as well as true hand carvings.
We will produce any detail necessary to go with your fine woodwork including custom Metal Blacksmithing, leaded hand blown glass, Old Iron, leather, and more.
If you can dream it up, we can engineer, build, finish, and install it to all necessary specifications determined.
Our Engineers and Installers will work with you and/or your builder to overcome all obstacles that may arise during the building and installation process until the project is complete, with a Smile!
We are there all the way through the process to get you exactly what you would like.

Mountain High Woodworks was established during 1980 in the Bridger Mountains outside of Bozeman Montana. Since then we have catered to the custom needs of the most discerning Architects, Builders, and Interior Designers from Bozeman, Big Sky, Whitefish, Sun Valley, Park City, and Jackson Hole.
We have performed on projects throughout the West including Canada, Mexico, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Ohio, Nevada, California, Alaska, and elsewhere as well, like South Korea and Quebec.
Over the decades so many Custom Residential projects and the occasional distinct Commercial project have all been produced by our greatest asset, very talented fine woodworkers who put their heart and soul into everything we craft.
Our seasoned installers care about the intended design and fit of the finished product as well as the final satisfaction of the owner.
